Festive season is a season of all sort of sweets also and hence essential part of any festival celebration. Barfi is most common Indian sweets used during any Indian festivals.

As people are trying to make sweets at home as sweets in market are made in advance due to high demand during the season, So this Danedaar Barfi (Milkcake) quick recipe can be your go to recipe for all occasions.

Danedar Barfi


  • 3/4 cups Whole Milk Ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup Condensed milk
  • Almonds for garnishing (slivered)


1. Mix Ricotta cheese and condensed milk in microwavable bowl,
Microwave for 5-6 minutes, give it a stir after each two minutes. Please keep checking in between as over cooking may burn the cheese and it will not taste good.
Grease a dish to set barfi, spread hot mixture on dish and spread almonds on top of it.

Let it set for 20 minutes. You can refrigerate it also to get it cooler soon,
4. Cut into pieces of desired shape, size and serve.
